Colombia. The National Television Board unanimously appointed Mariana Viña Castro as director of the ANTV, who since October 2018 served as director in charge of the entity.
Mariana Viña Castro is a lawyer from the Externado de Colombia University, with a specialization in Public Law and Economic Law; he has complementary training in Project Management, Legal Sociology and Economic Analysis of Law from the Universidad de los Andes. He has 16 years of professional experience and has always exercised his management in the telecommunications sector.
The new director in ownership of the ANTV worked in entities such as Inravisión, RTVC and the National Television Commission, developing different legal management activities.
In the Authority he began in 2012 when the entity was created, and has been part of areas such as Surveillance and Control, Regulation, Contents and also at the head of the General Secretariat of the National Television Board.
