Argentina. The National Communications Agency, Enacom, approved new developments for the regulation of Fomeca credit lines, with the aim of accelerating and simplifying processes, particularly with regard to the presentation and surrender of projects by beneficiaries.
Among the main modifications are the elimination of the requirements for the presentation of demos and budgets of third parties; the possibility of signing the agreements and making the surrenders of expenses through the Platform of Distance Procedures (TAD); the establishment of quotas by region (Metropolitan, Pampeana, Central, Northeast, Northwest, Nuevo Cuyo, Patagonia).
All these modifications will come into force for the new lines that are opened to competition and seek, among other things, to speed up the times between the presentations of the contestants and the disbursements of money and make a more federal distribution of resources.
In addition, the lines will be formulated under the same name in relation to the amounts according to equipment (Line E), Productions (Line P), Media Management (Line G) and a new opening for project development (Line D) aimed at subsidies of reduced amounts to encourage and facilitate the start and planning of projects.
In this sense, it was arranged the creation of the P Line of Fomeca destined to the production of radio and audiovisual contents whose projects may be presented under the modalities of radio or TV microprogram, weekly radio or TV program and daily radio or TV program or news. The subsidy provided will cover up to 90% of the total budget of the project in the case of non-profit legal entities and 95% in the case of indigenous peoples.
