Brazil. In order to expand its presence in the Brazilian market, the Italian company RVR reached an agreement with the Brazilian manufacturer Biquad Broadcast to manufacture its products locally.
Carlos André Salvador, director of Biquad, assured TVyVideo+Radio that the RVR equipment will be manufactured under the Biquad brand but with Italian engineering and will be approved for the Brazilian market. In addition, the agreement includes that Biquad will be a service and technical support center for RVR products in South America.
Matteo Castagnoli, RVR's Americas sales director, stressed that they were looking for a reliable partner to develop their products locally. This partnership will allow Biquad to handle all RVR products with specific engineering designed for Brazil.
"It is a complete partnership in which both companies are committed to making an important development of the Brazilian market. For Latin America RVR will continue with its warehouse and technical support managed by Broadcast Depot," he added.
This is just one of the novelties of the good moment that Biquad Broadcast is going through. Its director said that they are also opening a new headquarters, located in Mina Gerais, with much more space, which will allow them to face the growth that the company is currently experiencing.
