Latin America. In a consecutive year, signals via IP is one of the main topics of the broadcast industry. MultiDyne continues its development and its VB series provides a solution for any combination of signal transport over fiber, said Matt Watkins, sales and systems design manager at MutiDyne.
"In 2017 at NAB Show we introduced a new product line called the VB series. It is a modular card solution for products of this type. Customers can choose any type of configuration at the output and we can do it in a box. This product has a major success, so we have expanded this platform for various types of applications. In this 2018 edition, we show a change to those cards from last year that can be used in our light box system. They can be used in any camera you have, even for multiple cameras, regardless of the number of cameras, we can make it possible with this architecture," he said.
He added: "This we also expanded to our rear camera backrest series, SilverBack. The new generation of this range occupies the same VB cards. To transport the system at a point where it can be mounted to the back of the camera, it will have to be compatible with other platforms of our brand. Additionally the architecture of the VB cards are also compatible with our open cards, so you can have any of the varieties of SilverBack or VB."
The executive emphasized: "We like to consider ourselves as problem solvers. There are different problems that can be solved with our previous customization."
He highlighted the company's presence in the Latin American region: "We have customers in Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Mexico, Chile and it continues to grow. Our dealer network is growing, it's been very interesting lately."
Watkins said: "So far everything looks pretty good, we have a lot of expectations for this new platform, because everything is unifying. Many of our products depend on the use you want to give it and that has been something that has strengthened us."
