Elenos offers a new configuration as a company

Latin America. Grupo Elenos offers a renewed vision to the broadcast and radio industry, supported by its new configuration. Integrating the brands Elenos, 305 Broadcast, itelco and Broadcast Electronics, the offer is expanded and gives more opportunities to its customers, said Alfonso López, president and CEO of 305 Broadcast.

"We have a lot of new products and also a new strategy as a company. The Elenos Group has invested heavily; I think it's the industry that has invested the most in the radio and TV industries on the transmitter side. Elenos bought the Itelco factory four years ago; recently in December it completed the purchase of Broadcast Electronics and all this has a reason: as Grupo Elenos – with all our companies, such as 305 Broadcast, Elenos, itelco, Broadcast Electronics – we have the widest range of transmitters and transmitter users worldwide, bringing together the experience of all companies".

He described: "In principle we are manufacturing in the United States the itelco transmitters, under the itelco America brand, to be able to supply the US and Latin American market in the line of TV transmitters; Broadcast Electronics transmitters will be repowered with a new technology. Elenos is a single-owner brand that has always sought to make brands more efficient; we will maintain the product and distribution lines: Elenos under that brand, with 305 Broadcast for the American continent, and Broadcast Electronics with its traditional channels."

On the current offer of the corporate, López said: "To NAB Show 2018 we take version 2.0 of the software of our 10 kVA transmitter for FM, today the most compact in the industry, we have two years selling it and with users worldwide; we consider it to be the most efficient and lowest cost transmitter in the industry. In the TV line we have developed itelco transmitters with ATSC 3.0; we didn't have that format and now it's available. We have three lines of transmitters air-cooled at low and medium power and liquid-cooled at high power."
