Colombia. With the presence of the National Registrar of Civil Status, Juan Carlos Galindo; the Vice Minister of Connectivity and Digitalization, Juan Sebastián Rozo and the Deputy Minister of Digital Economy, Juanita Rodríguez, installed the Communications Control Table that will accompany the electoral days that will be advanced during the first half of 2018.
This table aims to permanently monitor the performance of the communications services on which the data processing of the next elections will be supported.
The installation of the table was attended by Marcelo Cataldo, President of Tigo Une, operator selected by the National Registry for the consolidation and processing of information.
Likewise, managers and representatives of other providers of telecommunications networks and services were present; the General Command of the Military Forces; the National Police; the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Defense, and the Mayor's Office of Bogotá.
