Colombia. With the aim of socializing and discussing the T-599 ruling of 2016, which seeks to guarantee access to regional public television for all Colombians, a working table was held with the presence of all the managers of the regional channels, the National Television Board and the director of the ANTV.
During this regional table of public television, organized by the National Television Authority, ANTV, the director of the entity Ángela María Mora Soto, announced to the attendees the status of the regulatory project that seeks to comply with the ruling of the Constitutional Court, as well as the actions that have been advanced from the ANTV.
This working day was attended by Ernesto Orozco, Olga Castaño, Suzy Sierra, members of the National Television Board, as well as the managers Catalina Ceballos of Canal Trece, Darío Montenegro of Canal Capital, Ludy Ortega of Canal TRO, Mabel López of Teleantioquia, Gloria Giraldo of Telecafé, Emiliana Bernard of Teleislas, César Galvis of Telepacífico, Juan Manuel Buelvas of Telecaribe, as well as a representative of the public operator RTVC and a delegate of the Minister of ICT.
The guidelines for the presentation and financing of projects carried out by public operators were also discussed, as well as the benefits of Royalty Projects in issues related to the industry, the co-production of projects and finally the Law of actors.
The director of the National Television Authority, Ángela María Mora Soto, said that this type of conference is very important for the sector and highlighted the level of commitment of each of the managers of the regional channels. "This is the second regional table we do and we hope to do at least three more in the next semester, where we can share our concerns and propose solutions together, with a view to Colombians being able to have better public television."
