Latin America is a market of wide possibilities and promising businesses. For this reason, Tightrope Media Systems is already exploring various possibilities to offer its digital signage solutions in this region, said Erich Henry, president of the company, during his participation in NAB Show 2017.
"Our business approach is essentially based on the United States and Canada, but we are open to conversations, with opportunities in Latin America. Both in distribution and in other digital signage alliances in Latin America, we certainly want to penetrate, but we want to be sure that we have the support for it, because when you go to a recognized company, and if we really want to go over that business niche we need to make sure that everything is in the right place, "he said.
Although the company itself has not ventured into the Latin American market 100%, its products are distributed in the region through the Californian integrator BrightSign. "We are now BrightSign's allies for several years; they distribute in Latin America, so it's good durable hardware available. And now we want to launch Carousel 2.7 and make the user interface available in Latin American languages. It's an opportunity that's underway," Henry said.
The plans to venture into Latin America are ahead as promising in terms of business, he said: "It's a tremendous region for us, it's an issue we'll focus on, because we really have the ability to do it, and we really have the right pieces. It's just a matter of timing for us to pursue the Latin American market. It's tremendous in terms of profits."
