Mexico. The Federal Institute of Telecommunications, IFT, authorized access to multiprogramming in 35 stations of Televisión Azteca and in 5 stations to Radiotelevisora de México Norte, in various cities of the country.
In the case of Televisión Azteca, the multiprogramming will give access to the transmission of the programming channels "Azteca 7" and "a+", in the States of Jalisco, Veracruz, Baja California, Sinaloa, Quintana Roo, Querétaro, Puebla, Morelia, Chihuahua, Yucatán, Campeche, Chiapas, Zacatecas, Guerrero, San Luis Potosí, Coahuila, Durango, Aguascalientes, Colima, Nayarit, Baja California Sur, Sonora, Tabasco and Oaxaca.
As for Radiotelevisora de México Norte, S.A. de C.V. will multiprogram the programming channels "XHGC-TV Canal 5" and "Gala TV, in the States of Sinaloa, Nayarit, Yucatán and Sonora.
Regarding concessions, the Plenary granted a concession for indigenous social use for the provision of the public service of sound broadcasting in modulated frequency in favor of the Mixtec indigenous community of San Pedro Tututepec, Oaxaca, through the frequency 106.1 MHz, with call sign XHTUT-FM, and a community social concession in favor of RCBC Comunicación, A.C. for the provision of the public service of sound broadcasting in modulated frequency in Taxco de Alarcón, Iguala and Buenavista de Cuéllar, in the state of Guerrero, through the frequency 95.3 MHz, with call sign XHRCB-FM.
On the other hand, a concession was granted for public use for the provision of the digital broadcast television service in favor of the Autonomous University of Querétaro through Channel 11 (198-204 MHz) with XHPBQR-TDT call sign.
Similarly, the Plenary authorized AT&T Comunicaciones Digitales, S. de R.L., the extension of validity of 3 concessions granted at the time by the Ministry of Communications and Transportation, to provide wireless access service in various states.
