Latin America. Megatrax is celebrating 15 years in Latin America led by Willy Rivera, who joined in 2002 and since then the company has had significant growth in the region.
On the occasion of this date, Phillip Macko, vice president of sales of Megatrax, recalled how was the link of Willy Rivera to the company and his achievements to reach the position of today, Director of Business Development for Latin America:
In 2002, a young man went to an interview on Megatrax, having arrived in Los Angeles from Puerto Rico just four years earlier. Even though he had no direct industry experience, his intelligence and passion were unmistakable. Shortly after the interview, the job offer was a given. Today, fifteen years later, and through Willy's efforts, Megatrax has experienced unprecedented growth in Latino markets, with long-term relationships with broadcast, radio and agency clients throughout Latin America.
This is largely due to the strong bonds Willy builds with his clients, along with a willingness to spend a lot of time in the country, visiting his clients at their workplaces and joining them at conventions and fairs. In years past, I have had the pleasure of joining Willy in attending Andinalink, Caper, Tepal, Canitec, Punta Show and many other events. This year Willy will spend six months abroad, working with existing and new clients alike, in several key Latin American territories.
And while, on behalf of the entire Megatrax team, we applaud Willy for his accomplishments during his fifteen-year career, it would be remiss not to thank our many loyal customers for the opportunities and hospitality they have provided us. From Fox International's rebranding audio, Coca Cola's campaign - Shooting Star Polar Bear, the rebranding of Telesur's networks, the successful launch of radio and jingle imaging services, and much more – thank you Latin America for making Willy and Megatrax its partners.
