Latin America. The KMU, a team that Datavideo presented at NAB 2016, was included in the product demonstration that the company made in Miami on March 3, aimed at its users in both the United States and Latin America.
The company's representative for Latin America, Ralph Messana, told TVyVideo+Radio that the KMU began to be shipped recently and is already sold out due to its good acceptance in the market.
"The KMU allows you to connect a 4K camera and it comes out with 4 1080 shots or you can clone the camera and have 8 shots. It is a unique product that has a different workflow. Datavideo is complementing this solution with a 4K PTZ camera to deliver the full package."
He said that as part of a complete solution, at NAB 2017 they will be presenting new switcher with 12 Full HD inputs, with a control panel. This way they will have the complete workflow with the KMU, the camera and the switcher.
On the market in the region, Ralph Messana commented that Central America will be one of the fastest growing markets for the company this year. And in the rest of the region, despite the economic difficulties of 2015, they achieved a growth of 10% and expect this year to be much better.
