Colombia. The consortium Promesa Futura Plural Comunicaciones SAS, represented by Eduardo Flores, signed the contract for the concession of Canal Uno, in the company of the director of the National Television Authority, ANTV, Ángela María Mora Soto.
The group, formed by the partnership between RTI, NTC, HMTV and CM&, will operate these spaces for a term of 10 years and must begin broadcasting from May 1.
"From that day, Colombians can have an additional possibility to choose from a greater number of options, we will have a higher quality in programming and definitely this will allow us to see a completely renewed and competitive grid," said the director of the ANTV.
It is important to note that this consortium presented a bid of $107.5 billion, that is, 9.6% higher than the price set and adopted by the National Television Board of $98,268 million, for the award of these television spaces.
