Colombia. The fifth edition of the Latin American Telecommunications Congress, CLT17, which will bring together the most relevant actors in the telecommunications sector in Latin America, will be held from June 20 to 23 in Cartagena.
This year, as main themes, the development of the digital economy and the industrial Internet in our region will be addressed as central themes of the event; and regulatory modernization and its contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals.
The Congress is organized by the United Nations International Telecommunication Union (ITU), CAF - Development Bank of Latin America, the GSMA (global association of the entire mobile ecosystem), the Inter-American Association of Telecommunications Companies (ASIET) and the CRC, with the support of the Ministry of ICT of Colombia, the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce (SIC) and the National Spectrum Agency (ANE).
The CLT is a space for debate and exchange on digital public policies in which all the most important actors and organizations in the region converge. For this reason, it constitutes an ideal space for the definition of a new work agenda that allows to face the challenges and take advantage of the opportunities for the development of ICT and the Digital Economy in Latin America.
