Latin America. During the last version of IBC, ChyronHego announced the acquisition of Hybrid, a French company that manufactures products for virtual reality, virtual sets and robotic solutions for the broadcast industry.
TVyVideo+Radio spoke with Aldo Campisi, vice president of Latin America sales for ChyronHego, who assured that the company adds important value to its existing technologies with this acquisition.
He stressed that "a news writer who uses ChyronHego technology is self-sufficient to create daily content very quickly, either traditionally or on virtual sets. And now you can add augmented reality as well."
He added that in Latin America these workflows have been implemented for more than a year in Azteca de México. "It is a source of pride that these types of integrations are being made for the first time in a Latino channel."
Thanks to the Olympic Games in Rio, the representative of ChyronHego gave a positive balance of how the Latin market has been for the company during the last year. They grew up in countries such as Mexico, Brazil and Argentina. In addition, the human team that serves the region has also grown.
