Mexico. the Federal Institute of Telecommunications, IFT, authorized access to multiprogramming to three Channels of Televisión Azteca in Pachuca, Hidalgo, and in Morelia and Zamora, in the State of Michoacán, under the protection of their concession titles.
In the three channels to be multiprogrammed, TV Azteca will broadcast the Canal Proyecto 40 that the television station itself generates.
In parallel, the Plenary of the Institute authorized access to multiprogramming to Telesistemas de Coahuila, S. A. de C.V. in the town of Sabinas of a programming channel; while TV Norte, S. de R.L. de C.V. was authorized to broadcast a programming channel in the city of Matamoros.
Regarding public concessions, the Plenary resolved favorably access to multiprogramming to the Public Broadcasting System of the Mexican State and its holders of various concessions in the Mexican Republic, through different television channels in the cities of Aguascalientes, Campeche, Colima, Mazatlan, Ciudad Obregón, San Cristóbal de las Casas, Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Uruapan, Villahermosa and Zacatecas.
Thanks to this, it will be possible to carry out under this modality the transmission of different programming channels, such as Canal Once, Canal 22, Ingenio TV, TV UNAM and Canal del Congreso, generated by third parties as content programmers.
