Latin America. During the last version of NAB Show, Vidiexco added to its portfolio three new brands that help it in the company's intention to strengthen its market for cinema in Latin America. They are K Tek, Zacuto and C-Motion.
José Cadavieco Jr, director of Vidiexco, told TVyVideo+Radio that "With 12 years in the market, we have achieved an important image in the market, which makes it easier for us to have the support of manufacturers. Three new brands we are going to represent in Latin America, which allow us to provide a wide portfolio for digital cinema in the region and that is why we are developing this idea hand in hand with our allies in the region."
With this focus on digital cinema, Vidiexco will have a fifth specialization group within the company. In addition, it will take advantage of the special moment that the region is experiencing in film production and with technologies at affordable prices for Latin America.
He added that "In Latin America for several years the main channels are producing novels with film workflows. Today, with the devaluation it becomes cheaper to produce a film in our countries and new opportunities have been created that we seek to take advantage of."
Finally, José Cadavieco Jr that "although the economy has been altered in recent months in the countries of the region, people were waiting for NAB to see what was new and now investments that were pending are being activated. By far this NAB has been the biggest for the company and we have been busier than usual after the show."
