NAB. In addition to the new technologies, the Spanish company VSN presented what is its new line of business, which will be focused on offering its temporarily licensed systems for specific projects.
Mario Díaz, commercial director of VSN, explained that this new approach is a response to the needs of the market, since there is more and more audiovisual production of medium and small producers that require professional solutions, but do not have the economic capacity or only require the solution for a specific project.
The temporary solutions that the company will offer through its distributors are focused on Product Asset Management, PAM; Media Asset Management, MAM; and emission, which guarantee all the support of the company with a low cost of the camera.
Among the new technology, the integration of systems for VSN and Rosss newscasts stands out, which unites the VSN Livecom studio playout software with Ross Inception. This integration means stopping the development of VSN News, so users of this who want to adopt Inception, will have a discount close to 50%.
