Argentina. Construir Cine, member of the Global Labor Film Festival, with the support of the National Institute of Film and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) under the auspices of UOCRA Cultura, announces the last days of registration to participate in the 2nd edition of "Construir Cine: Festival Internacional de Cine sobre el Trabajo", dedicated to the world of work and workers.
Registrations will be open until Wednesday, March 30 and all productions that tell stories related to the world of work and workers, based on the four main axes promoted by the Construir TV signal: people, education, the social dimension and industry, will be received.
This contest aims to encourage creativity and support the independent production of audiovisual works related to the world of work. The winners of this new edition of the International Film Festival on Work will have the support of Construir TV and INCAA TV, which will be in charge of exhibiting and disseminating the finalist works. In addition, the winning shorts will have the possibility to compete in the short film festivals organized by the Global Labor Film Festival.
The jury that will evaluate the participating short films is composed of renowned personalities from the audiovisual industry will evaluate, during April 2016, the works presented. In addition, the public will be able to watch and vote for their favorite shorts through the Construir Cine www.facebook.com/construircine fan page. The winners will be announced on May 1, 2016 on the occasion of the celebration of International Workers' Day.
Contest categories:
1-Working Day: short films of 3 or 6 minutes may be presented.
2- Fiction: short films of up to 15 minutes may be submitted.
3- Documentaries: short films of up to 30 minutes may be submitted.
Registration for the contest:
Participants must complete the registration form on the contest website www.construircine.com, then they must print it, sign it in original and send it scanned to [email protected] REF: name of the short film.
Once the registration has been made, the participants must send the audiovisual material under the conditions described in clause VI: Presentation of the material that can be found in www.construircine.com
