International. Telos Alliance welcomed UK-based Voiceware as Axia's latest partner, further expanding the list of broadcast software platforms that integrate with Livewire AOIP networks.
Voiceware's VClock acts as a Livewire/Axia GPIO Node, whereby broadcasters can easily interact with Axia consoles. VMeters also interacts with Axia Audio nodes to visualize sound levels.
"Livewire is a fantastic protocol, so it's easy for Voceware products to be connected to the real world. Livewire support is achieved by the end user, simply by checking a box, and that's it! They then act on any Livewire GPIO they want, across the entire network. I am very proud that Voceware has achieved Axia Partner status, recognizing VClock as a well-integrated product. The prestige that comes with being an Axia partner opens up VClock to a new user base," said founder Chris Voce.
"Innovative partners with exciting offerings like Voceware make the AOIP ecosystem even more useful for broadcasters. We are pleased to welcome them as our new Livewire partner," commented Marty Sacks, Vice President of Sales, Support and Marketing for the Telos Alliance.
Voceware unites more than 80 Livewire partners. Unlike other systems that use proprietary software and tightly control access to their systems, Axia has opened up with its technology from the beginning to improve the broadcasting industry, inviting other manufacturers to become Axia partners and allowing potential partners to include Livewire technology directly into their products without a per-unit license fee.
