Colombia. After almost three months of general call, RecMotion the Festival of Digital Content produced with mobile devices, organized by the regional public television and the ICT Ministry, awarded the best in a busy Closing event chaired by the Deputy Minister General of ICT María Carolina Hoyos.
The Deputy Minister revealed that this call is a way to recognize interesting and hidden stories and obeys the digital revolution that the country is experiencing, where anyone with a mobile device can tell relevant stories of people whose lives have changed with the arrival of the internet, which was precisely the requirement of the material that entered into competition.
RecMotion received material from all over the country through the regional channels Canal TR3CE, TeleAntioquia, Telecaribe, Telecafé, Teleislas, TRO and Telepacífico. Among all the proposals received, the two best ones were chosen. These shortlisted, 14 in total, were analyzed by the qualifying jury composed of: Yesenia Valencia, Colombian actress, producer and official image of the Smart films Festival , cinema made with cell phones and Cinema in your hands. Alejandro Ángel, audiovisual director, director at Crossmedia Lab of the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University, at Armadillo Media and at the Creative Commons Film Festival of Bogotá. Elder Manuel Tobar, audiovisual director, winner with the transmedial project 4 Ríos, in the Surprise category of the Crea Digital Call, organized by the Ministry of ICT and the Ministry of Culture, and Lina Cáceres, general producer with extensive experience in the field of content generation for multiple platforms and director of Content Production and Development at LatinWE (the renowned company of representations of Sofía Vergara).
The jury considered that the best proposal in the senior category was that of Andrés Felipe Tabares Tabares (Teleantioquia), and in the junior category, Juan Diego Cárdenas Amaya (Telecafé). They took high-end cellular equipment with complementary accessories to ensure digital realization. Both told when receiving the recognition that they worked thanks to the tools and training given in the Vive Digital initiative of MinTIC.

It is worth remembering that the RECMotion Festival is a product derived from the #PásateAlaPública campaign, a strategy of the MINISTRY of ICT and Colombian public television, which seeks to unite synergies between the channels, in order to expand the scope of its contents and position itself as an entertainment alternative.
