Argentina. The AFSCA board approved a new list of winners of three other lines of subsidies from the Fund for the Promotion of Audiovisual Media, FOMECA. At the new meeting, the directors of the agency also resolved the approval of authorizations, awards and authorizations for communication services in different cities of the country.
As approved, 46 winning projects will receive subsidies for a total of 21 million pesos, corresponding to the new FOMECA 2015 lines. First, for the contest "Equipment for TV channels", 9 winning projects were approved, among which 5.7 million pesos will be delivered.
Also winning were 9 projects for the category "Production of audiovisual content for channels", which will receive about 6.5 million pesos. In addition, 23 winners of the "Support for networks" contest were approved, which finances the creation and promotion of networks of channels and / or national, regional and local audiovisual production companies for almost 9 million pesos.
The meeting was headed by the head of the organization, Martín Sabbatella, and was attended by the entire board, composed of Ignacio Saavedra, Néstor Avalle, Eduardo Rinesi, Claudio Schifer, Marcelo Stubrin and Gerardo Milman.
