Colombia. The 10 years that have passed since the rohde & Schwarz company was established in Colombia, have been enough time for it to position itself as a leader in the Measurement Technology, Radio communication, Broadcasting and Information Security Industry.
This was indicated to TVyVideo+Radio Carlos Sánchez, engineer of the company. Who added that it has become a technological ally of several broadcasters, such as the Consortium of National Private Channels, RTVC, City TV and Regional Channels, and additionally of regulatory entities such as the National Spectrum Agency ANE and the National Television Authority, ANTV.
Rohde&Schwarz Colombia is currently implementing the update of the spectrum monitoring system with the ANE, through which this entity will improve and expand its capacity to monitor and manage the radio spectrum assigned to Digital Terrestrial Television in Colombia.
Within their portfolio of products and services in Colombia, they offer a high range of transmission, monitoring and measurement equipment required for the production and broadcasting of television and radio, as well as a wide portfolio of solutions for media management such as ingestion, transcoding, storage, post-production and play out. In addition, it offers header systems for satellite and terrestrial networks, including encoders, multiplexers and gateways.
Finally, Carlos Sánchez stressed that Rohde & Schwarz Colombia will be participating in the different tenders to expand DTT coverage for both public and private operators.
