Mexico. The Plenary of the Federal Institute of Telecommunications, IFT, declared the loss of assets for the benefit of the Nation of the equipment used in the municipalities of Nezahualcóyotl, State of Mexico and Cortázar and Tarandacuao, Guanajuato, for the provision of broadcasting services on frequencies 97.3 MHz, 92.5 and 107.1 respectively, without having a corresponding concession, permit or authorization.
It also imposed a fine and declared the loss for the benefit of the Nation of equipment used to provide broadcasting services in Tarandacuao, Guanajuato, on the frequency 90.7 MHz, and in the same way with the equipment used to invade the radio spectrum in the frequencies 824.534 MHz, 827.509 MHz, in the Federal District, and 844 MHz in the State of Mexico, without having a necessary concession, permit or authorization.
These are part of the measures being taken by the IFT to attack illegal broadcasting in Mexico, through processes that have intensified in recent years.
