Mexico. MIPCancun - Latam TV Summit is a regional commercial event for the television content industry created by the organizers of the television content markets, MIPTV and MIPCOM, which will be held in Cancun, in the Mexican Caribbean, giving television channels and digital networks in Latin America the opportunity to build new relationships with international and regional suppliers.
To this end, the event offers a specialized mix of guest buyers and distributors approved to be part of pre-scheduled 1-on-1 meetings during November 19 and 20. For the wide audience of Latin American professionals in the TV industry, MIPCancun also offers an educational program to develop creative and business skills through the new Latam TV conference
The conferences will be held on Wednesday, November 18 and Thursday, November 19, aimed at TV producers and broadcasters in Latin America to develop their skills of generating television entertainment in today's global landscape.
The educational portion of the MIPCancun 2015 program will include panels and discussions that will guide session attendees in building approaches that, to their measure, allow them to navigate and succeed as producers, creators and future television executives.
Mixing a creative vision with a business one, the lectures will be given by international experts in television formats, factual, digital and drama programming, as well as key speakers who have been protagonists of great success stories in Latin America.
Between Wednesday, November 18 and Friday, November 20, the Matchmaking will be held. In an intimate and highly personalized business environment, MIPCancun's matchmaking program offers 1-on-1 meetings tailored to international programming distributors and buyers in Latin America.
Buyers and distributors are contacted according to their preferences and meet for 30 minutes over the course of two days. As a novelty in 2015, on the afternoon of November 18, projections of three major programming launches in Latin America exclusive to buyers will be presented.
