Chile. 224 projects competed this year in eight competitive lines for the money of the Fund-CNTV 2015. The award ceremony, held at the Municipal Theater of Santiago, was attended by the Minister Secretary General of Government, Marcelo Díaz, Councilors of the CNTV, directors of television channels, audiovisual filmmakers, among other authorities.
"The National Television Council has among its priority tasks to administer the CNTV Fund. We are talking about the most important state contribution to the development of quality programs of high cultural level or national or regional interest for the country's television. As CNTV we seek to deliver diversity to the screen and put new topics that are of general interest. Programs that talk about our history, our identity, and that are entertaining, innovative and in keeping with current times," said Oscar Reyes, President of the National Television Council.
Historical and biographical miniseries, fiction and non-fiction programs, new seasons, among others, are part of the works that result benefited from the delivery of resources from the CNTV Fund. Here are some of the categories:
- Three historical series of four chapters each.
- Two productions in the fiction line of eight chapters each.
- Three programs were awarded in the Non-Fiction line.
- Three regional productions.
- Three series in line supporting new seasons.
- Two programs on the Telefilms line.
- A series in Co-Producciones Internacionales, a line established in 2011.
