Colombia. The framework of Colombia 3.0 was launched RECMotion, the Festival of Digital Content produced with mobile devices, organized by the regional public television of Colombia, which had as guests the Ecuadorians of Enchufe TV, the Latin American revelation of YouTube.
This project involves the Colombian regional channels Canal TR3CE, TeleAntioquia, Telecaribe, Telecafé, Teleislas, TRO, Canal Capital and Telepacífico. The Festival seeks the best content made through a mobile device: cell phone or tablet that shows in a creative and interesting way how the life of a character has positively changed with the arrival of the internet. The duration of the material may not be less than one minute or more than three.
Early applicants will be able to participate with an idea and become validators of their region. Those from the Andean Zone and Eastern Plains will be able to find a registration form and the step by step for sending the content on the web pages of the Colombian regional channels. The mechanics of the Festival have several phases.
At the launch of RECMotion were also invited the creators of Enchufe TV, a talented phenomenon on youtube, of Ecuadorian origin, which makes a series of comic sketches where various situations and everyday characters are seen with a unique irreverence.
They will present their success story as creators of digital content, this experience will undoubtedly become a basic tool for validators to develop the selected projects. The Enchufe TV channel has 9,227,314 subscribers and 2,065,190,373 visits.
After the launch and from September 12, the validators will be the spokespersons of the Festival in their region and will leverage the general call that officially enters the contest.
The general call will go from September 12 to November 30. Applicants should also keep an eye on the websites of the regional channels, where the requirements will be published. During the first week of December each channel will select the finalists by region and the second week of December will be held in Bogotá, the award day.
The RECMotion Festival is a product derived from the campaign #PásateAlaPública, a strategy of the Ministry of ICT and Colombian public television, which seeks to unite synergies between the channels, in order to expand the scope of their content and position itself as an entertainment alternative.
