Brazil. SES is present at the SET Expo 2015, an event in which the company will demonstrate solutions for Ultra HD (4K), directly at its stand, and will show how from the Google Earth application it is possible to identify the location of the company's global satellite fleet in space and check the coverage on a 50-inch TV touch screen.
In parallel, the company will deal with SAT> IP technology, which allows satellite television to be watched on the screens of smartphones and tablets. "The SET Expo is an important event for broadcasters in the Latin American market and is where we can see the trends and evolution of the sector in the region. This is where we see the next steps of innovation that will guide companies in the coming years," said Jurandir Pitsch, Vice President of Sales at SES Latin America.
On August 26, Jurandir Pitsch will be one of the participants of the satellite segment panel, which will take place at 9 am. The meeting is part of the Congress that is held in parallel to the fair. On that occasion, topics such as Ultra HD 4K satellite transmission, video over IP via satellite, industry trends and ongoing expectations and initiatives for the 2016 Olympic Games will be discussed.
