Argentina. The board of directors of the Federal Authority for Audiovisual Communication Services, Afsca, approved the projects selected for the Competitive Development Fund for Audiovisual Media, Fomeca, in the categories of Production of Radio Content for Broadcasters in its modalities of Weekly Program, Daily Program and Information Service.
They also approved the projects for Radio Content Production for Producers for Weekly Program and Community Campaign; those destined to the category Communication with Identity for Radio Equipment and Radio Productions, and the projects of the category Production of Audiovisual Content for Producers in their modalities of Spot, Microprogram Series and Weekly Program.
Likewise, the opening of six new Fomeca lines for a total of 45,000,000 Argentine pesos was announced, destined to the financing of "Management of Community Media", "Equipment for Radio", "Communication with Identity", "Production of Radio Content for Stations", "Production of Radio Content for Producers" and "Production of Audiovisual Content for Producers".
At the board meeting, the authorizations for the installation, operation and operation of four FM stations for Indigenous Peoples were also approved, for the Chiguay community belonging to the Mapuche people in El Bolsón, province of Río Negro, for the Mapuche groups Antiñir Pilquiñan and Millain Currical of the town of Los Miches and the Paraje Huncal, in Neuquén, and for the Yasi Tatareta aboriginal community belonging to the Guarani people in the town of Fraile Pintado, Jujuy.
The board also enabled 13 FM stations: four in Buenos Aires, three in La Pampa, two in Formosa and one in Entre Ríos, Santiago del Estero, Mendoza and Córdoba.
In addition, fms were authorized for the Ministries of Education of the provinces of Río Negro, Santa Fe, Corrientes, San Juan, La Pampa, Chubut and for the General Council of Education of the province of Entre Ríos; and for the municipalities of Morón, province of Buenos Aires, and Senillosa, in Neuquén.
