Nickelodeon Launches Together for Good Campaign

Latin America. Nickelodeon announces that it will launch Together For Good – Agents of Change, its new initiative that provides an opportunity for children to make positive changes in the world around them. The campaign will serve as a platform through which Nickelodeon can inspire its audiences outside the United States to engage in their communities, provide the necessary resources and education, and celebrate the impact they are making every day. 

The international campaign will launch on July 21 on all Nickelodeon platforms in 150 countries and territories with its inaugural partner, Plan International. Founded more than 70 years ago, Plan International is one of the largest and most established children's development organizations in the world. Plan was chosen because of its long-term work in communities around the world focused on breaking the cycle of poverty for millions of children and their families.

Based on our research, we know it's important for our audiences to be able to make a meaningful impact in their communities and that they want to support the causes that are important to them," said Mark Levine, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Brand Strategy, Viacom International Media Networks and Executive in Charge of Public Affairs, Nickelodeon International. 

Beginning July 21, Nickelodeon will launch the campaign internationally through its channels, social media and online. Children can enter the good.nickelodeon.tv campaign micro-site to read inspiring stories about other children who are already making changes in their communities, learn how they can get involved, and learn about various activities and challenges that can help them make a positive impact – big or small.

The second phase of the campaign will launch in August, through which children between the ages of six and 17 will be invited to enter good.nickelodeon.tv to upload photos and videos of themselves making a difference in their communities. Four finalists in each participating region outside the United States will be selected by a panel of nickelodeon and Plan International members. The Nickelodeon audience will then have the opportunity to vote to elect an agent of change in each region. 

Those regional winners will be recognized for their achievements on Nickelodeon's digital networks in their respective regions. The campaign will culminate in the fall with a celebration honoring all change agents around the world and will announce a lucky finalist who will be selected by Nickelodeon and Plan International to receive the grand prize, an all-expenses-paid trip to the United States to attend a Nickelodeon event as a VIP guest.
