Brazil. Interra Systems announced that Brazilian broadcaster Globosat has selected the Baton QC solution for integration into its file-based workflows.
Founded in 1991, Globosat is now one of the largest programmers in the region with several popular channels, such as SporTV, Telecine, GNT, and Globo News, among others. The company supports more than 33 high-quality news and entertainment channels.
Baton is an automated content verification multi-platform system, (quality control) for file-based SD, HD, and mixed workflows.
"Baton has helped us by providing the tools we need to quickly identify issues in our workflows, but most importantly, it's the best support we've ever seen. The great experience with the support team started at the time of installation, and since then Interra Systems have been answering our questions about how to properly use the tools offered by Baton," said Vaz Venicio, Technology Support Coordinator, Globosat, Rio de Janeiro.
Juanchy Mejía, Director of Sales, The Southeast United States and Latin America for Interra Systems, said: "We welcome the opportunity to work with Globosat. As with satellite service providers in other parts of the world, these companies demand a very robust and scalable quality control solution for their file-based workflows. We expect Baton to enable QC greater volume and variety of programming they receive from their suppliers to their exacting standards."
