Argentina. Cristian Sargoni is at a fast pace. He is the head of operations and technology for Non Stop TV, and oversees the company's state-of-the-art infrastructure for production and distribution, which spans a massive 3,500-meter space.
Established in 1983 in Buenos Aires, Non-Stop has a list of VIP clients in the media, and develops and completes content for, among others, HBO, Disney, FOX and MTV. · He explained that "At Non-Stop, the pace of production for TV is accelerated, and the infrastructure we have uses the best and most advanced technology, to make sure that our media customers and viewers are satisfied with the quality of transmission in each production."
In addition to production for VIP customers, Non Stop has acquired for more than a decade, a long experience in the regional production of thematic channels. Among them Slow Channel and Viajar TV, both channels with more than four seasons of original production around the world. Slow Channel, whose quality standard has always been very high, has used two Blackmagic Cinema 2.5K cameras, from its appearance on the market to the present.
Recently, Non-Stop added a Blackmagic Production 4K camera to its production arsenal and will be using it for their productions during 2015. With the fourth season of "Viajar" in full production, Non-Stop plans to take its traveling channel and Blackmagic Design cameras to an international level.
In addition to developing content for its elite client list, Non-Stop offers dubbing, copying and subtitling services to distribute high-tuned shows and movies around the world. With such a diverse operation, there is an extensive quality control process, essential for the quality of the transmission. And the brain of this process is the Blackmagic Teranex 2D processor.
Prior to the installation of the Teranex, the content produced by Non-Stop required 30% more time for conversion. This meant more time for quality control, and therefore impacted distribution.
