Colombia. The National Television Authority, ANTV, must initiate a new process to choose the new director of the entity, because the shortlist initially proposed, Carlos Hernán Caicedo Escobar, Isabel Cristina De Ávila Benítez, Juan Manuel Restrepo Cuartas, were not suitable for the position.
This was established by the concept of February 26, 2015, issued by the Administrative Department of the Public Function, the entity in charge of reviewing the resumes of the candidates for the Director of the ANTV and which established that they do not comply with the requirements of the law for this purpose.
The ANTV announced that it accepts this concept and consequently decided to start a new selection process.
The AnTV Directorate has been on an interim basis since the end of 2014, when Ramón Angarita left office. Currently, Juanita Farfán Ospina, the second director in charge since November, is in charge.
