Colombia. RTVC acquired three 52SX systems with DHD 52MX production modules, for its Señal Radio Colombia chain, specifically the new digital technology is destined for the headquarters of Medellín, Bucaramanga and Manizales.
The 52/SX is the new compact modular mixer for radio and TV, with an optimized price is ideal for OnAir studios, workstations and small mobile units. It complements the DHD 52/MX and 52/RX product line. The 52/SX replaces the RM2200D based on the new 52 Series firmware platform.
The configuration is done with a simplified Toolbox5, offering a range of functionalities similar to that offered by its predecessor. This version can be extended to allow connectivity with other Series 52 products, including DSP Control and Remote Control PC software. The console consists of 4, 8, 12 or 16 faders and a control module that includes command microphone, pre-listen speaker and a 7" TFT touch screen.
The 52/SX console can be installed flat, desktop or split. It has a modular 1U DSP chassis with DSP and microphone inputs/outputs, headphones, analog line, digital (AES/EBU, S/PDIF and USB audio), MADI and Gigabit audio interface. The wiring between the faders, the central module, the DSP and the input/output section is done only by Ethernet (DHD audio, PoE power, DHD IP control), thus allowing the use of the usual CAT cabling. For its part, the 52MX is viable for a main control, a mobile unit or a study. All fader channels are provided with control elements for quick direct access, TFT touch screens show signal levels and settings at a glance, which is essential for live mixing. The main section is provided with all the features you need for monitoring, commands and control, included in the TFT itself.
