Mexico. Through a communiqué, the Federal Institute of Telecommunications, IFT, reported that on January 30 it received a letter from the legal representative of the National Information Center of Tepeyac Studies. S.A. de C.V., in which it communicated the company's decision not to continue in the bidding process that seeks to deliver to put into service two new open signal television channels, in order to suit its interests, so it formally presented its withdrawal.
Then, by personal appearance at the offices of the Institute, the legal representative of the company ratified the content of his writing.
The entity clarified that after this fact, the bidding process continues and is currently in the stage of "Dictamination and Certificates of Participation", which will conclude, between the fifth and ninth of March of this year, with the notification of the respective Certificates of Participation to the Interested Parties who have complied with all the requirements provided in the bidding rules.
The third stage will begin with the opening of the envelopes containing the Coverage and Economic Offers of the Participants, which will take place on March 11. The issuance of the ruling will be no later than March 19.
