Argentina. In its 24th version, the most important event of the cable TV industry in Argentina, Jornadas Internacionales, will celebrate the first 50 years of cable television service in Argentina.
The dizzying pace of growth of the industry, the new challenges imposed by technology and the new regulations that affect the sector, will be the central themes of academic activity and technology talks and workshops. All this starring leading specialists from the country and abroad.
The center of the academic theme will be dominated by the implications of the new government regulations in the development of the activity and the vision of the future of the business that will provide the CEOs of the main operators in the region.
To this is added a program of academic sessions prepared by the Technical Commission of ATVC and the SCTE (Society of Cable Telecommunicatios/USA) that will allow cable operators and their technicians to update and improve their knowledge, which will surely result in better services to their subscribers. In turn, the Audiovisual District of the city of Buenos Aires, will present itself again with a conference that will touch on the issues inherent to its activity
As is already traditional, the Day of Cable and Education will propose its look at the development and interaction between cable and teachers to reinforce curricula, amalgamating advances in the science of education with new technologies. For this segment, the Intercable Network, Discovery Networks and Chello Latinamerica have already committed their participation.
Additionally there will be the commercial activity, with the latest products and the new distribution and marketing proposals, which will further improve the quality of the service provided by cable operators.
The event will be held at the Hilton Hotel in Buenos Aires, between September 17 and 19.
