Latin America. Antonio Calderón, representative of Broadcast Depot, described as a success the latest version of the Workshop held by the company in Miami, which was attended by 150 radio and television professionals from 15 countries in the region.
The representative of Broadcast Depot commented that 100% of the attendees sought to have greater contact with manufacturers, to know the new technologies, training for migration to the digital world, and that was what they could find during the two days.
The 25 manufacturers that accompanied the day took the opportunity to present the latest technology for radio production and satellite television transmission. One of the most outstanding technologies was the system for transmission from remote locations, useful for both radio and television.
Also heavily consulted during the event were IP-based network systems, an OTT platform that is aimed at channels that want to take advantage of niche markets.
Antonio Calderón mentioned that another interesting aspect during the fair were the talks by Ismael Cala and Iván Casas. He also announced that in 2015 this experience will be repeated, again during the month of June, of which the exact dates will later be announced.
