NAB. In addition to the technological ones, one of the novelties that Newtek has unveiled during this version of NAB, has to do with the agreements with different manufacturing companies that are supporting their systems on the Tricaster.
Ralph Messana, sales director for Latin America, told TV Y VIDEO that as of the beginning of April, 60 agreements had been signed with the same number of companies that are basing their systems on the Tricaster. "The beneficiaries of these agreements will be our customers, who will receive more each time they purchase a Tricaster or access to new products at a low cost."
Another interesting fact commented by Ralph Messana has to do with the number of hours of weekly video uploaded to the internet through the Tricaster. According to the latest record, there are 60 thousand hours of video a week uploaded to the web with the use of Newtek technology.
To cope with the company's growth in the region, the number of people who are serving this market was increased, with base representatives in Chile and Costa Rica, who are added to those in Mexico and Brazil. "We have been growing a lot in the region, This year we made product presentations for the first time in countries such as Bolivia and Guatemala. Last year we went to Uruguay and Paraguay with good results," said Ralph Messana.
