Colombia. The National Television Authority published Resolution 1133, which establishes the new regulations for community television systems, and which modifies the controversial Resolution 433.
According to the entity, the new resolution recorded the comments made during the regulatory project by the sector, although not all of them could be accepted because some of the requests exceed the powers of the entity.
To publicize the new regulations and their implications, the National Television Board decided to convene a large national audience-forum with the purpose of analyzing the mechanisms and actions jointly with the other intervening entities (Congress of the Republic, National Directorate of Copyright, CRC etc).
In this way they seek to resolve the doubts that may arise around the concerns raised by community television regarding the subjects of observation, which as has been said, due to the existence of higher hierarchical norms can not be modified by administrative means by the ANTV.
Annex to Resolution 1133, the ANTV presented a Response Document to the comments that includes the reasons why the proposals, comments, information, related studies were accepted or rejected within the process of discussion of the regulatory proposal and, if the comment is accepted, it is reflected within the text of the Resolution to be issued by the entity.
