Latin America. A positive assessment of the results of 2013 was delivered by Alejandro Cubino, president of Network Broadcast, in which he stressed that the goals that the organization had set for 2013 were doubled.
He indicated that "all operators have made an important technological upgrade, accompanied by large investments in equipment and development to face next year's World Cup. This favored our business plans."
For his part, Fernando Galvarino, Business Development Engineer of the Southern Cone region, commented that throughout this year there was a very marked trend towards migration to HD. "This basic need for customers to stay up-to-date and at the forefront of new technologies has led to HD equipment sales growth of nearly 40% over 2012."
He stressed that the new interface developed by Network Broadcast for the World Cup was created with the intention of providing permanent added value. In addition, he assured that the company has come to lead Latin America and be recognized by the entire sector thanks to its flexible products, its service and the constant training of all its professionals.
For 2014, the company will seek to deepen the business plan that gave it such good dividends in the past year. Among the pillars on which it is planned to strengthen the structure, we can highlight: a definitive expansion of OTT services at the regional level; a productive partnership with cooperatives in Argentina, through the provision of equipment to face the new reality in terms of audiovisual media; a territorial projection in Bolivia through OTT, digitalization, Set Top Box, header equipment, etc.
