Costa Rica. Between September 10 and 12, the most outstanding international telecommunications and convergent technology fair in Central America, Andina Link, will be held, this time in Costa Rica.
This fair has a conference program certified by the Latin American University of Science and Technology, Ulacit. Its target audience includes telecommunications operators, technology and programming providers, cable operators, open and closed television channels, community channels and regional channels, among others.
Among the topics that will be addressed this year are the evolution of the tree and branch structure to hybrid networks with fiber optics; Hybrid fiber optic and coaxial cable networks; head for digital television service and basic principles of the digitization of TV signals.
In addition, Conditional Access, premium video on demand services; different types of boxes; decoders, how to choose the most suitable; transmission of digital signals; different modulation schemes and what are the requirements of the network to offer digital TV.
