Latin America. The restructuring process of grass Valley's work team for Latin America, which began in 2012 with the office it operates in Miami, continues to strengthen its sales force in Brazil with new additions to foster new opportunities in the region.
Felipe Andrade took over as the company's new Regional Sales Manager. He will oversee sales and work closely with a newly appointed sales team in the region, which includes three new hires. Grass Valley highlighted that each new appointee brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to their respective industry position, allowing the company to remain strong in a growing market.
Alberto Santana has joined Grass Valley as the new Channel Sales Manager, where he will lead the channel sales business and help establish partnerships with resellers. Santana held a successful sales position with Sony for many years.
Cristiano Barbieri serves as Grass Valley's new account executive, with a direct focus on customer sales. Barbieri was previously with Harris Corporation.
Guilherme Duarte has been appointed Pre-Sales Engineer, supporting a variety of sales opportunities in the country. Guilherme is a former pre-sales specialist in broadcast projects, where he gained extensive experience in both pre-sales and field service.
Mike Cronk, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Grass Valley, explained of the appointments that "we see great opportunities ahead in the region, and we are confident that our new team members will allow us to deliver even more of the results our clients are looking for."
