Latin America. An ambitious and millionaire contract that seeks to see its contents in the United States, Mexico and Colombia, was signed by the production companies Televisa, Caracol and Univision, and that began to govern since the first of January.
As part of the agreement, Televisa and Univision will be able to broadcast the series and telenovelas made by Caracol and will even be able to make new versions of the stories adapted to their countries. Entertainment programs are also included in this programming exchange.
The two production companies in Mexico and the United States committed to broadcast a minimum of hours of Colombian production in their prime time, within the framework of the contract that has an estimated duration of three years.
In making the announcement, Gonzalo Córdoba, president of Caracol, stressed that this is one of the most important international strategic alliances in the history of the company, which will allow it to achieve an important international reach for its positioning as a producer of quality content.
For his part, the president of content and television of Grupo Televisa, José Bastón, indicated that "having the content of Caracol for our audiences of open television and pay television is part of Grupo Televisa's commitment to transmit the highest quality content and of more diverse genres".
