Colombia. For three days, the fifth version of the community television fair, ComuTV 2012, will be held in Medellín, in which more than 160 TV systems that are part of the cooperative will participate.
Sergio Andrés Restrepo told TV Y VIDEO that he is very happy for this new version of the fair, because it is an important challenge since this year it is held in the largest convection center in Medellín, Plaza Mayor.
"Last year we had 1,400 attendees and 45 exhibitors. For this year the goal is to reach 1,800 or 2,000 attendees and the number of stands doubled, because this time it will be 80, "he said.
During the first day, the ageda had as its central axis the regulation for community television, for that it was attended by the commissioner of the National Television Authority, Alfredo Sabbagh; and the former commissioner of the National Television Commission, Eduardo Noriega. Issues concerning the future of television in terms of technology were also addressed.
One of the most important aspects that Commissioner Sabbagh pointed out was the project that regulates the resources for the promotion of public television, which would allocate 40% of the resources of this fund for community television systems, through projects that they present to the entity.
For the second and third day, the Expo is scheduled to open, which will feature representatives of international cable television channels, as well as distributors of equipment and technical services. In addition, during these two days a series of workshops will be held with technical and administrative content focused on community television systems.
TV AND VIDEO is present at the fair to bring our readers the latest news and important information for everyone.
