The scope of the agreement, as reported by the two companies, will also allow the option to watch the contents of the channel through other LG devices such as Home Cinema and Blu Ray, all legally.
Among the content alternatives that users of lg's system will have thanks to the agreement, are important sporting events such as the main football tournaments of the European leagues, tennis tournaments such as Roland Garrós and Wimbledon, and competitions of other sports such as golf, cars and rugby. In addition, they will have films, documentaries and series.
The representatives of the Spanish media group Prisa, assured that this type of agreements are part of a strategy that seeks to adapt to the new reality of the television industry with the challenges faced by the digital world and the internet, as well as achieve a high level of audience for its Premium content in all forms of distribution.
These types of initiatives seek to confront the transmission of television and film content that some Internet portals do illegally. One of the best-known examples in Latin America is that of Cuevana, which is currently facing legal problems with some North American production companies.
