Argentina. The Argentine Association of Cable Television, ATVC, published the programming of the conferences of its International Days 2012, which will be held on September 26, 27 and 28 at the Hilton Buenos Aires hotel.
For this year, they defined the theme – framework "Bringing fiber to the home", for which the conferences will be divided into three segments. One of them, in charge of the TECHNICAL COMMISSION of ATVC, consists of presentations aimed at updating and increasing the knowledge of engineers and technicians, as well as cable operators.
Among the conferences in this segment are: HFC: towards smaller nodes; DOCSIS 3.0; OTT and CDN services; Advanced headend architectures and content protection; Passive optical architectures; ePON, ePOC, DPoE, RFoG; and Traffic Management or Traffic Engineering.
For its part, the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers of the United States, SCTE, will offer a conference on advanced technical topics. In addition, there will be presentations by technology exhibitors who wish to do so.
