Venezuela. The company Mediax, noted for its training center for audiovisual producers and audits of television channels, invested US$500,000 in additional infrastructure equipment.
This was announced by its president, Eduardo Caballero, who indicated that with this investment "we doubled our physical plant, we began the construction of a new television school studio, an audio studio, new training rooms and incorporating 30 new teachers and consultants."
During 2011, they trained more than 600 people through their courses, workshops and the one-year "Training Program in Audiovisual Production", which is in its third edition.
Caballero added that "the Institute meets the training needs of a labor market that is asking for higher levels of specialization and a new breed of young people who are training in the classrooms of universities, who wish to complement that training with theoretical-practical programs."
After six years in the market, Mediax has managed to position its audits among different television networks to which they evaluate their operational and financial management through the service called Efficiency Audit, which, said Caballero, allows improvements in financial results of up to 40% of the preliminary results before a specialized evaluation.
