Channel 5 News (C5N) of the city of Buenos Aires, successfully integrated its teams with support for virtual reality in cameras of the Company Shotoku; with the aim of offering viewers more visually appealing content on topics such as traffic reports, weather, economy, politics or sports.
The channel reported the installation of the Shotoku SH120VR interface, which includes support for pan/tilt head with virtual 3D graphics system; Likewise, the IT manager of C5N, Gastón Serralta, highlighted the importance that investment in technological development must have for television producers .
"Using Shotoku's system, our production team has developed a new way to display news on screen. Virtual 3D virtual graphics are easy and reliable; in addition, they attract the attention of viewers and help us to remain an innovative channel with the latest technology," Serralta explained.
For their part, Shotoku spokespersons were also satisfied with the integration of this technology in the Latin American market, "virtual reality systems are the key to the future of television production, as they allow small installations to expand the frontiers of their creativity and capture the attention of their audience", said Naoki Ebimoto, president of the company.
