International. To increase its presence in all countries of the Americas, GlobeCast adopted an internal reorganization plan that includes the formation of a sales group aimed exclusively at Latin America and the strengthening of the transmission of large events in North America.
Lisa Coelho (photo), CEO of the company, was in charge of announcing the new projects to further strengthen the presence it had in the region with technical attention from South Florida and with satellite coverage in Latin America.
Ricardo Flores was appointed as director of the new sales team for the region, which will be based in Sunrise, Florida, an office that adds to those installed last year in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Sao Paulo, Brazil.
In this way, the company's attention for America is distributed as follows: sales for North America from New York; in Los Angeles it will offer content management, value-added services and broadcasts; and the newly created Florida sales directorate for Latin America.
Globecast is a French company, subsidiary of Telecom, which offers digitization services, aggregation transmission and format change of content for delivery to satellite platforms, digital terrestrial television, cable, IPTV, TV on PC, TV on mobile or networks and digital signage, with transmission of 10 million hours of video and multimedia content per year.
