International. In an attempt to captivate the attention of young people, Warner Bros. is preparing a series that will be broadcast only through the social network Facebook.
According to the production company, this is the beginning of a new genre of television called "social series". In order to view it, Facebook users will need to download a custom app that will include music and images from the user's profile in the video.
In each chapter of "Aim High", your viewers will be able to find photos of their own or their friends hanging on the walls of the scenarios in which the story takes place, thanks to a software that will directly take the images of each profile.
The series will last six chapters, will begin to air from October 18 and will star the actor of the Twilight saga, Jackson Rathbone. The producers indicated that he can contribute to the success of the project with his recognition among young audiences.
Kevin Tsujihara, president of Home Entertainment at Warner Bros., said that this is the first of several productions he has been working on and that they hope to improve after the issuance of this version.
In this way, the production companies begin to face directly the competition that social networks have become for traditional television, especially with the younger audience that every day spends more time on them and less on television.
