Colombia. Since May, this country has a certified training center that offers all the programs of manufacturers such as Avid and Digidesign.
This is the Art and Technology Training Center, CCAT, which after two years of teaching courses in several Latin American countries, opened a headquarters in Colombia after an investment of $ 500 million (about US $ 260 thousand), being the first outside the country where it was born two years ago, Venezuela.
Camilo Aranguren, director of the CCAT for Venezuela and Colombia, explained to TV and VIDEO that due to the significant growth that the audiovisual industry has had in Colombia, and that it will continue with the trend for the coming years, they decided to bet on a headquarters in Bogotá.
He added that in this country they will continue with the academic quality that has characterized them and has affordable prices. Teachers in Colombia are certified and have extensive experience in the Colombian market.
"A little less than a month ago we reached an agreement with Apple and Adobe so that the CCAT in Venezuela is in charge of certifying audiovisual professionals in the programs of these companies. We are already finalizing the details to dictate them also in Colombia," Aranguren said.
To these courses are added others designed for the specialization of professionals in the post-production and production of audio and video.
The CCAT has been very well received in Colombia, because a month after opening the doors, 30 professionals have passed through the headquarters in Bogotá. "Due to the interest we have found throughout the country, we will take the courses during the second semester to other cities, although we will not have fixed venues."
Internationally, in the two years of operation, this company has certified more than 500 professionals in Caracas, Lima, Guayaquil, Quito, Santiago, Miami, Buenos Aires, among other cities.
